On the Road in New Mexico

Aunt Saffi is on a roadtrip to Santa Fe, New Mexico. What have I learned so far? 1. No sane person RVs through California’s Central Valley or the Mojave desert in July. 2. Dante’s Inferno is actually located in Lost Hills, CA. Sulfurous water. Blazing temps. But the KOA camp is fine and there are lots of Indian food carts. Here in New Mexico it’s beautiful expansive spaces with colorful buttes. Not as hot, thank goodness. Just passed a sign for an outpost with s-s-snake stuff. Whatever that is! Death by rattlesnake venom in a future mystery? As I travel, I am also proofing the final ebook of the second Pacific Northwest Mystery: Death in the Haunted Wood. I have to say I really had fun with this one! Safe journeys alone and all!
